Discussion Starters
1. Monday—How would you describe hypocrisy? Why do you think hypocrisy bothers us so much? Where are areas you see hypocrisy in your own life and heart?
2. Tuesday—How would you describe integrity?
3. Wednesday—Read Leviticus 19:9-37. How many echoes can you hear in Luke 6? How does Leviticus 19:18 summarize the whole chapter? Why does it profane God’s name when his people disregard his commands? (Lev 19:12)
4. Thursday—What does 1 Corinthians 11:31 mean that if we judge ourselves, we will not be judged? How can judgement lead to freedom from judgment?
5. Friday—What hope is there for people who are hypocritical, have sinful hearts, and do what they know they shouldn’t? What do you need most of all? What assurance do you have from Jesus that you will not struggle forever? (Luke 6:40; Philippians 1:6)
