Discussion Starters

Monday—When is the right time to think about the Last Day or when you face the Lord? What are the two extremes that people tend to fall into when they think about that day?

Tuesday—What does baptism represent? Why was Jesus baptized? Why is the Father’s declaration of his pleasure with Jesus so important? (Matthew 3:16-17)

Wednesday—Why did Jesus have to die? Why was it important that the Father again testified to his pleasure with his Son as his death approached? (John 12:27-28)

Thursday—What does it mean that Jesus was shown to be the Son of God by the resurrection? (Romans 1:1-4) What does the resurrection confirm about Jesus’ ability to save his people?

Friday—Why has God left you 1 John? (Read 1 John 5:10-13) Where can you find comfort for a sensitive conscience?
